Spinach Lasagna

In this recipe of lasagna spinach is used not only to make it more colorful and attractive but also it enhances the taste when it combines with minced meat. The stuffing of Spinach Lasagna is very simple and easy to prepare just boil the spinach and lasagna strips and in the mean while prepare the meat sauce. If you wan to try lasagna with lots of other vegetables then you must try paleo lasagna.

Ingredients:

Lasagna sheets as required
500 gm boiled spinach
Cheddar cheese as required
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup oil
White sauce as required

For Meat Sauce:

500 gm minced beef
1 onion chopped
1 cup mushrooms
1 clove garlic chopped
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 cup tomato paste

Procedure:

Meat Sauce Preparation:

1. Put minced meat into a deep sauce pan but before make sure that there would be no fat in the meat. Then add chopped onions, garlic, salt, pepper and tomato paste, and cook them together on medium heat until meat become tender and tomatoes mix well in the meat.
2. After that add oregano, sugar and mushrooms and cook on high flame for just 3-4 mins so that the sauce becomes dry.

Preparation of Spinach Lasagna:

1. Take a suitable dish for lasagna and start making layers one by one, at first pour few drops of white sauce at the base and sides of pan so that it may take out easily after baking, then spread the sheets of lasagna to cover the whole base of dish
2. Spread half of meat sauce over the sheets, spread some white sauce on it and then cover it again with lasagna strips.
3. Now spread spinach over the lasagna strips, cover it with rest of of the white sauce and then lasagna sheets. For topping spread cheddar and Parmesan sheets to the whole dish. Place the dish in oven for at least 20 mins. at 350 degree F or until become light golden in color. After that take out he dish from the oven and cool it to room temperature then serve.
