Chicken-with-onionPreparation time : 15 mins. + 30 mins. Marinating time | Serves 6 persons

This chicken with onion recipe is one of a quick and healthy food recipe. You can add in more fresh veggies of your choice to make it more healthy and delicious.


6 large green chilies (julienne)
5 medium tomatoes (seeded and julienne)
6 shallots (sliced)
1 lemon juice
¼ tsp ginger (chopped)
½ tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
3 tbsp oil

For Chicken:

2 lb boneless chicken
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp chili powder
¼ tsp pepper
2 egg egg white
2 tbsp corn flour
3 tbsp all purpose flour
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying


1. Marinate chicken with the ingredients mentioned for marination and leave for 30 mins.
2. After that dry the marinated chicken cubes till become golden brown in color.
3. To prepare veggies, fry the onion, ginger and green chilies in oil for just 1-2 mins to make them slightly soft. just to make onion soft.
4. Then add in seasoning of salt and pepper with lemon juice and stir well.
5. Now add fried chicken cubes and tomato wedges and just mix for 1-2 mins. over high heat.
6. Take out the hor chicken with onion into the serving platter with garlic rice.
