This Szechuan chicken recipe is one of the quick and easy recipe that can be prepared any time and full of lots of nutrition. Though the actual flavor is bit spicy due to red chilies but you can adjust it according to your taste. You may also add roasted peanuts to get more flavor.
1 lb chicken breast (cut into strips or cubes)
1 cup cabbage (cut it into squares)
1 carrot (cut into cubes)
2 capsicum (cut into cubes)
4 to 5 green chilies (chopped)
10 to 12 whole red chili
2 to 3 green onion (chopped)
1 tsp crushed black pepper
½ tsp white pepper powder
2 tbsp ginger garlic (chopped)
2 tbsp Worcester sauce
2 tbsp chili garlic sauce
2 to 3 tbsp oyster sauce
3 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
1. Heat oil in a pan sauté ginger garlic for just a minute.
2. Add chicken and cook over medium heat till become white in color.
3. Then add whole red chili, salt, black pepper, white pepper, Worcester sauce, oyster sauce and chili garlic sauce. Cook for 5 min over medium heat.
4. After that add veggies and cook for further 2-3 min over high heat so that sauce coats well around the veggies. Serve the hot Szechuan chicken with boiled rice.
