This onion roasted potato is prepared with onion soup mixture and Italian seasoning hence has awesome aroma. You may also serve it with topping of caramelized onions to give it crunchy flavor. The recipe is healthy for children who only want to eat fried potatoes rather than taking it as healthy food.
2 lb red potatoes (diced)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1. Combine all the ingredients except Italian seasoning and mix well.
2. Wrap the diced marinated potatoes in an aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 30-490 min.
3. Then to give potatoes brown color, take them out from foil sprinkle Italian seasoning and bake in baking dish for just 5 min by turning on the top burner. When potatoes get brown and tender take them out from oven and serve immediately.
