Fruit Salad
Preparation time : 30 | Serves 4 persons mins | Serves 6 persons

Fruit salads are prepared in different styles. In this recipe, Russian dressing is used but it is also called Italian fruit salad since macaroni is added to it. Use of fresh fruits in this salad enhance its flavor. This salad is usually served cold and is prepared in quick time.


Ingredients:

1 cup fresh strawberries (cut each of them in 4 pieces)
1 cup pineapple (cut into small pieces)
1 cup apple (cut into small pieces)
1 cup grapes
2 cup macaroni

For Dressing:

1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup fresh cream
1 teaspoon crushed black pepper
1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Pinch of salt
2 tablespoon sugar

Cooking Instructions:

1. In a deep sauce pan, boil macaroni for 10-12 minutes until become soft and then drain out all the water from the macaroni. Let the macaroni cool at room temperature.
2. To make dressing for salad, add mayonnaise and cream in milk and mix them well to make a smooth paste.
3. Now add seasoning of black pepper, white pepper, salt and sugar to the mixture and mix.
4. In the end mix fruits in the prepared dressing and place the salad bowl in fridge for at least 15 minutes.

Servings:


Serve this fruit salad in a beautiful salad platter or bowl and decorate it with salad lettuce and carved fruits.
