Cornbread Pudding


Cornbread Pudding
Preparation time : 60 mins | Serves 8 persons

This is a tempting dessert made from cornbread. You can make it more attractive by adding some toppings of whipped cream, crunch and nuts.

Ingredients:

4 beaten eggs
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup milk
1 cup cream
1 tbsp vanilla
6 pieces day-old cornbread cut into cubes
1 cup chocolate chips

Procedure:

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. Mix all ingredients together including eggs, brown sugar, milk, cream and vanilla.
3. Place the corn bread pieces on a baking pan and pour the mixture on cornbread pieces and allow the mixture to absorb.
4. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and bake for 30 mins until pudding becomes set.
