This chinese cole slaw recipe is one i prefered for diet conscious people because this cole slaw recipe has no more mayo, buttermilk or cream like ingredient. It has taste of ramen seasoning along with vinegar, toasted almonds and sesame which goes excellent with the cole slaw mix.


8 green onions (chopped)
1 head cabbage (shredded)
1 package Ramen noodles
¼ cup slivered almonds
3 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbs. butter
3 tbsp sugar
Seasoning packet of Ramen noodles (optional)
½ cup oil
½ cup apple cider vinegar
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp soya sauce


1. Toast almonds and sesame seeds in butter, add dressing ingredients including sugar, vinegar, soya sauce, Ramen seasoning and oil and cook to boil.
2. Combine cabbage, onions and ramen noodles in a bowl and then pour the hot almond sesame mixture over the veggies. toss gently and then serve or you may refrigerate to serve it cold.
