This vinegar cole slaw recipe is prepared with a special vinegar dressing that is mixed with the typical cole slaw veggies like cabbage, onion and carrot. Its method is simple and easy but its chill time is more so you will have to prepare it a day before serving so that it gives good taste.
3 lb cabbage (shredded)
1 large onion (chopped)
1 medium carrot (grated)
2 cup sugar
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup vinegar
½ cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp celery seed
1. Toss all the veggies together with sugar and 1 tbsp oil and place in fridge.
2. Now prepare dressing for that you need to mix all the ingredients of dressing and bring to boil.
3. After that remove the dressing from heat and let it cool to room temperature, it would take 1 hr.
4. Pour the prepared dressing over the chilled veggies and then put in fridge to chill for an hour. This cole slaw can be stored in fridge for a week.
