This steam chicken recipe is specially prepared for people who are on healthy diet. The chicken is prepared without oil hence giving some extra spicy flavor which is generally used in South Asian cuisine.


1 lb chicken
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 cup yogurt
1 tsp green chili paste
1 tbsp coriander paste
1 tsp mint paste
1 tsp hot mix spice powder
1 tsp chaat masala powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp raw papaya paste
Lemon juice for topping


1. Marinate chicken with All the above ingredients except lemon juice and leave for 30 mins.
2. After that wrap chicken in foil paper and place it over the double boiler or steamer and cook till chicken gets completely tender. It would require 45-60 min for large pieces of chicken.
3. After that squeeze the lemon juice over the top of chicken and serve it hot with bread.
