Spicy-ShrimpPreparation time : 20 minutes | Serves 4 persons

This spicy shrimp recipe is basically prepare with spicy tomato sauce. You can add chili garlic sauce to the tomato sauce to add some sweet and spicier flavor. Usually it is served with fried rice but also tastes great when it is served with any kind of pasta and spaghetti.


1 lb large shrimp (cleaned)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion (diced)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
15 oz tomatoes (drained)
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
½ tsp dried thyme
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp minced parsley


1. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil for 3-4 min until become soft.
2. Add shrimps and cook for just 2-3 min until shrimps would become pink in color.
3. Put the shrimp mixture into the plate and cook tomatoes, oregano, basil, thyme, crushed red pepper flakes, cayenne, salt, and pepper on medium heat until the sauce starts boiling.
3. After that simmer for 5-8 min and then add the shrimp mixture to the sauce. Simmer it again for just 2 min more and then top with fresh parsley.
