Preparation time : 30 mins. + Marinating time | Serves 6-8 persons
This Imperial Chicken Recipe is prepared by frying method. In this recipe, chicken is marinated with some spices, yogurt, ginger, garlic, and then leave for marination. The chicken is then fried and then serve with vegetables.
1 whole chicken (cut into 16 pieces)
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp garlic paste
2 tbsp Greek yogurt
1 tsp cumin (roasted and crushed)
2 tsp chili powder
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp coriander (crushed)
Salt to taste
3 tbsp corn flour
2 tbsp flour
Oil for deep frying
1. Marinate chicken with the ingredients mentioned above and leave it for at least 2 hrs.
2. After that heat oil for deep frying in a wok, then add chicken pieces in batches and fry for 15-20 mins. at low heat until become completely tender. Don’t forget to cover the wok while frying, it helps in cooking chicken completely form inside.
3. Serve the hot Imperial chicken with grilled vegetables, lemon wedges and onion rings.
