This reshmi kabab recipe is one of a famous bbq recipe from Pakistani Cuisine. It can only be prepared with chicken otherwise beef would require some raw papaya and cream to make soft kababs, but it gives good taste only with chicken.
1 kg minced chicken
2 medium onion (finely chopped)
1 bunch fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
5-6 green chilies (chopped)
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp roasted ground coconut flakes
1 tbsp roasted ground poppy seeds
1 tbsp roasted ground almonds
1 tsp roasted crushed cumin
2 bread slices (soaked in water)
½ tsp green cardamom powder
1 tsp hot mix spice powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp butter or ghee
1. Put all the ingredients in your food processor container and process them together to make fine smooth mixture.
2. Then take out the mixture in bowl and put it in fridge for at least 30 mins.
3. After that using skewers, give them longitudinal shapes, if you want to bbq then fix it nicely onto skewers and then grill on your griller and keep brushing while grilling. Otherwise you can also bake it in oven at 375 degrees F for 15 mins. Don’t forget to brush them with oil or butter to give them nice golden color.
4. Serve the hot reshmi kabab with onion rings, lemon slices, tomato wedges and green chutney.
