This crockpot dessert recipe is prepared with raspberry pie filling and vanilla cake mix. You may also add an additional layer of chopped nuts like walnut or pecan over pie filling. This crockpot dessert can also be prepared with other flavor of pie filling.
1 can raspberry pie filling
1 pkg vanilla cake mix
½ cup milk
½ cup melted butter or margarine
Cool Whip for serving
1.Make a smooth batter using cake mix and milk.
2. In a crockpot make a layer of pie filling.
3. Pour prepared cake batter over the filling, cover and let it cook for 2-3 hrs. on low or until cake layer cooks completely.
4. Using knife cut the crockpot raspberry dessert into pieces and serve with topping of cool whip.
