White Mexican Cheese DipPreparation time: 20 mins. | Serves 1 medium bowl

This Mexican White Cheese Dip is prepared with White American cheese, some seasoning of green chilies, and cumin. You add some herbs and vegetables just before serving to add some extra flavor to this dip for instance; you can add some chopped tomatoes, cilantro, etc.

Ingredients:

1 tbsp butter
½ cup milk
1 lb white American cheese
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp ground cumin
3-4 green chilies (minced)

Procedure:

1. Combine cheese, milk, and butter in a saucepan, and cook the mixture over medium heat until the cheese melts completely.
2. Add seasonings of onion and garlic powder, cumin, and green chilies and cook for 2-3 mins. more.
3. When the sauce gets thick like the consistency of condensed milk then remove the pan from the heat and cool it for a few mins. If you feel that the sauce is too thick, then add some milk to get the desired consistency.
4. Serve the Mexican White Cheese Dip with the topping of jalapeno slices.
