Granola BarsPreparation time : 40 min. | Serves 10 large bars

These Granola Bars is a famous food in the North America which is prepared with lots of healthy ingredients. The main ingredients include oats, dry fruits, nuts, honey, brown sugar, you can add variety of ingredients of grains family and make a rich healthy food for everyone.


2½ cup oats
3.5 oz sunflower seeds
5 tbsp sesame seeds
½ cup walnuts (chopped)
3.5 oz butter
3 tbsp honey
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ cup raisins


1. Mix first four ingredients including oats, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and walnuts and toast this mixture in oven for 5- 10 minutes at 325 degrees F.
2. Heat butter in a pan, remove it from heat and then add honey and brown sugar and mix well.
3. Fold the oat mixture into the brown sugar mixture and mix till everything is well coated.
4. Then add cinnamon powder and raisins and mix again.
5. Place a parchment sheet over a rectangular baking dish, transfer the mixture in the pan and press down lightly to spread it evenly. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 mins. After that remove from oven, cool it to room temperature and then cut into bars before serving.
