This beef noodles casserole is prepared with sour cream and cheese fold with noodles and then combine with delicious beef mixture. This casserole is prepared in layer fashion just like lasagna, you can make the topping crispy by adding potato chips along with cheese to get crispy crusted layer.
8 oz medium egg noodles
1 cup cottage cheese
8 oz sour cream
½ cup minced onion
1 lb lean ground beef
8 oz tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
½ tsp garlic salt
¾ cup cubed cheddar cheese
1. Boil noodles according to the package instructions.
2. In a mixing bowl combine cottage cheese, sour cream, and onion and fold the cooked noodles with this mixture.
3. Now prepare ground beef, in a greased sauce pan cook beef until become dry then add tomato sauce and seasonings and simmer for 10 min.
4. Take a greased casserole dish and spread half of noodle mixture, then top with half of cooked beef and then repeat the layers with remaining stuffing. In the end, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 30 min.
