This banana split pie is one of a great easy dessert recipe which you can easily prepare at home because no more cooking or baking is involved in the recipe just assemble the ready made stuffs and then refrigerate for few minutes.


2 large scoops of vanilla ice cream
3 tbsp butter (melted)
2 packs of chocolate cookie
1 cup chocolate sauce
3 bananas or as required (diced)
1½ cup whipped cream
Chopped pecans or walnuts for garnishing
Cherries for garnishing


1. Crush cookies in food processor and then mix with melted butter to form soft crumbs.
2. Spread these crumbs in a suitable pie dish so that it covers all the base and sides of dish tightly and then place the dish in fridge for 15 mins until set.
3. After that place half of the diced bananas onto the crust, then spread vanilla ice cream over the bananas and then place the dish in freezer for 15-30 mins.
4. Just before serving, spread the remaining bananas over the ice cream layer, sprinkle pecans and cherries and then finally drizzle chocolate sauce.
