This Margarita Pizza Recipe is one of a famous Italian pizza having different tomato sauce with basil flavor. It is prepared with both either vegetables or meat, but in this recipe beef pepperoni is used to give it rich flavor along with lots of cheesy flavor.
1 large pizza crust
Beef pepperoni as required (optional)
5-6 tomatoes (chopped)
½ tsp black pepper
4 to 5 cloves garlic (chopped)
1 tsp basil leaves (chopped)
1 cup mozzarella cheese
¼ cup Parmesan cheese
½ cup Perfect Italiano Pizza Plus (optional)
1 pinch oregano
1 tsp olive oil
Tomato slices and fresh basil leaves for topping
1. In a large saucepan, boil tomatoes just to remove skins easily, then blend them with garlic, basil, olive oil and black pepper to make smooth paste.
2. Cook it again for a while so that sauce gets boil and seasoned with salt.
3. Now take the pizza crust, place it onto the greased baking tray, spread the prepared tomato sauce on it, sprinkle ⅓ of mozzarella cheese on it, then spread pepperoni and tomato slices. Sprinkle all the remaining cheeses including, mozzarella, Parmesan and Perfect Italiano. Add some fresh basil leaves and oregano on top.
4. Place the baking tray in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 15 mins. till cheese melts completely and crust baked perfectly golden.
